Description
Tim Hortons, the Canada-based coffee shop chain has announced plans to create 2,000 jobs in the UK in the next two years. The company is planning to open shops and drive-thrus in major cities and towns across the UK, with shops in Motherwell (Scotland), Cookstown (Northern-Ireland) and Milton Keynes (England), the latter opening in December 2020.
The chief executive said the company aimed to 'capitalise on opportunities for growth' as interest in drive-thru dining has been growing since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Tim Hortons is best known for its coffee and donuts. The company opened its first UK outlet in 2017 and it now has 23 locations.
