Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The automotive equipment supplier Inteva Products France, following a court order in relation to its receivership will close the Saint-Dié-des-Vosges plant (where car locks are manufactured). The 223 Vosges plant's employees will be made redundant.
Inteva Products France, is being taken over by its own American shareholder Inteva Products LCC. The automotive equipment supplier thus retains all of its workforce at Esson (Calvados), where 238 employees work, as well as a majority of the employees at the Sully-sur-Loire (Loiret) site (118 out of 160).
