Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The fintech accounting platform Pennylane, announced the recruitment of 100 employees. The company is offering permanent contracts, mainly for accountants, chartered accountants and developers positions. In its 10 months of existence, Pennylane has generated a turnover of €1 million, recruited more than 55 employees and now supports more than 350 clients on a daily basis (including Luko, the consulting agency Klox, Liberkeys, the Barak, R-PUR, Yuka and Pricemoov restaurants). In May, the young company raised €4 million.
Pennylane offers an alternative to entrepreneurs who often use Excel with a platform entirely dedicated to accounting.
