Description
Nationwide Accident Repair Services, the British company that operates a network of garages and repair vans carrying out accident repair work entered administration. While much of the business was sold to RunMyCar, 30 garages were closed with the loss of 540 jobs. The sale had saved 2,350 jobs across 80 sites.
A representative of the Administrators said the company’s financial difficulties were caused by a reduction in trade during the COVID-19 lockdown, when motorists stayed at home.
Nationwide Accident Repair Services was founded in 1998 and it specialised in carrying out repair work for car insurance firms.
