Description
River Island, the British fashion retailer, has announced plans to cut 350 jobs in its stores across the UK with store management and senior sales roles being affected.
The company's chief executive said these actions were 'crucial' to ensure that River Island stores remained sustainable in the long term with sales and profits falling due to the COVID-19 crisis.
Rivers Island sells clothing and accessories in over 300 stores globally, including the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe as well as in Asia and the Middle East.
