Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The manufacturer of carbon fiber products for the motorsport and automotive sectors, HP Composites, announced it will hire 100 new workers by the end of the year to expand its production plant in Ascoli Piceno. The company is looking for different profiles, for both white-collar and blu-collar positions.
During production peaks, HP Composites employes around 600 workers in the Ascoli Piceno plant. The company already offered stable contracts to 97 workers were hired during 2020, 58 after the re-opening of activities following the closure undertaken as a consequence of the COVID-19 emergency.
