Description
As announced on 13 September 2020, the German energy firm EnBW will be creating 3,000 jobs by the end of 2022. According to EnBW CEO Mastiaux, jobs are needed in the grid business and renewable energy. Especially skilled workers for broadband expansion are needed as the firm diversifies away from its focus on energy to become a service provider for infrastructure and e-mobility. Mastiaux is satisfied with its commercial operations as it is barely affected by the current COVID-19 crisis. The company also indicates that it has taken on over 400 dual system trainees / apprentices this year, more than in recent years.
EnBW has already recruited 3,350 employees in the last 15 months. As of today there is no information on the location of new jobs. Currently, EnBW has 23,700 employees.
