Spherea, the former Airbus subsidiary, which became independent in 2014, is facing a 25-30% drop in business. The management has presented an emploment safeguard plan (PSE) with 90 job cuts and the closure of the Elancourt site in the Parisian region (Yvelines). The PSE announced the the works council of Spherea Test & Services, a subsidiary of Spherea, provides 90 job cuts out of the 387 employees employed on permanent contracts, including 261 in Toulouse and 126 in Elancourt. Spherea is one of the world leaders in test benches for aeronautical equipment.
