Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Sphere, the former Airbus subsidiary, which became independent in 2014, is facing a 25-30% drop in business. The management has presented an employment safeguard plan (PSE) with 90 job cuts and the closure of the Elancourt site in the Parisian region (Yvelines). The PSE announced that the works council of Spherea Test & Services, a subsidiary of Spherea, provides 90 job cuts out of the 387 employees employed on permanent contracts, including 261 in Toulouse and 126 in Elancourt. Sphere is one of the world leaders in test benches for aeronautical equipment.
