Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The insurance group April has announced the recruitment of 100 people by the end of the year to accelerate its digital transformation. April is looking for the following profiles: digital marketing (webmasters, SEO managers, product owners, traffic managers), customer experience specialists with UX designers, IT managers, CRM managers and developers.
April is a wholesale insurance broker which had a turnover of €1.17 billion in 2019. It employs 2,300 people, including 1,300 in Lyon. April has joined forces with Onepoint, a leading player in the digital transformation of companies, to launch April X, its digital hub dedicated to customer experience. It is within this hub that digital and technological solutions will be designed and tested for its brokers and policyholders.
April has recently announced a reorganisation in its subsidiary April Mon Assurance with 180 to 203 job cuts announced in January 2020.
