Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The French digital company Devoteam has recently created its new branch in the city of Ostrava and will gradually create 100 new jobs this year and over the next year. IT specialists will make up about 70% of the staff. The company focuses on the digitisation of workplaces, such as setting up effective work online or improving operation through digital technologies. The Ostrava centre is to create new services in the field of deployment and support of cybersecurity and cloud applications. The COVID-19 pandemic has increased companies' investment in digitisation and accelerated this long-term trend.
Devoteam has been operating in Czechia for 15 years via its Prague branch.
Globally, the French company operates in 18 countries in Europe and the Middle East and employs around 7,600 people.
