Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
As announced on 18 August 2020, the German biotechnology company Curevac will open 200 new jobs in Germany. Curevac, which went public last week, is currently working on a vaccine for COVID-19 and plans to grow quickly. Consequently, most of the jobs will be located at the headquarters of the company in Tübingen.
Curevac is mainly looking for bio and chemical technicians, quality managers, scientists and administration support.
Currently, the company has 484 employees worldwide; 471 working in Germany and 13 in the USA.
