Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Intelcia Portugal, a Portuguese outsourcing company from the Altice Portugal Group, will recruit 500 workers by the end of 2020 to integrate its operations at national level. The new employees will integrate projects in Portuguese, French, English, Italian, German and Castilian, in different sectors of activity. Out of the new 500 employees, 50 will occupy leadership positions such as team leaders and operations coordinators.
Intelcia is a company with presence in Europe (France, Portugal), Africa (Morocco, Egypt, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Mauritius, Madagascar, Kenya and South Africa), North America (United States of America), Latin America (Colombia, Guyana) and the Caribbean (Dominican Republic, Jamaica).
Currently, the company has 2,400 workers and offices located in Lisbon, Porto, Castelo Branco, Coimbra and Caldas da Rainha.
