Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Commercial Court of Paris has given the go-ahead for the takeover of the Famar Lyon site by Benta Pharma Industries. The buyer announces the safeguarding of 115 employees out of 240 (at the time it was put up for sale, the site employed 322 people).
There should be prospects for new hires in th future; by 2026, the group plans to employ a total of 270 people on the site, where medicines such as Nivaquine (chloroquine sulphate) are produced.
