Description
The Commercial Court of Tourcoing has ordered the judicial liquidation of the company Nord Construction Nouvelles (NCN). The 220 employees will therefore be dismissed for economic reasons. The court rejected the takeover bid submitted by Maxi Bat 62, which was not supported by the employees.
'We want to work, but not at any price or under any conditions', justified the staff representative and secretary of the social and economic committee. However, the CEO of Maxi Bat 62 announced his intention to take over a hundred or so employees who had been made redundant. The businessman indicates that steps have already been taken to create a new construction company.
