Description
Dutch clothing company G-Star announced 150 job cuts in the Netherlands as part of a larger reorganisation cutting 10% of 2,100 jobs worldwide. As a result of the COVID-19 crisis, sales have shifted from stores to online shopping. The shift to online sales requires the company to restructure into a more digitally-oriented organisation. Jobs in stores as well as at the headquarters will be affected by the reorganisation. G-Star is one of the largest fashion brands in the Netherlands and is best known for its jeans.
