Description
Ikea has announced its global expansion and transformation plan, which will involve an investment of around 150 million euros and the creation of around 750 new direct jobs in Spain in the next 3 years. This plan aims to open new store formats in 30 city centres worldwide (including Madrid and Barcelona in Spain). The company is already investing in these stores to increase their logistics capacity and to adapt them to the new format. Moreover, the COVID-19 crisis is forcing to the firm to implement some modifications adapting the logistics capacity of the stores while offering more versatility, agility and collection points.
