Description

As announced on 15 June 2020, Lufthansa Technik, a subsidiary of Lufthansa, will cut 300 jobs due to internal restructuring, according to the trade union Verdi. The management has reportedly informed the works council about the necessary cuts. It is expected that cuts will be carried out mainly in Hamburg and will affect employees in their probation period. The information hasn't been officially confirmed by the company, however, the media reports that the management and social partners have initiated negotiations.

Lufthansa Technik has 8,000 employees in Hamburg.
