As confirmed on 28 May 2020, the German industrial gas supplier Linde will cut 834 jobs in Germany due to internal restructuring. Although IG Metall reported a job reduction in fall 2019, the company's management confirmed the exact number of job losses recently. The management and works council have reportedly already reached an agreement, however, no details on timeframe and locations have yet been published.
Linde has approximately 7,000 employees in Germany.
