European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The cleaning and facilities management service company ISS has experienced a lack of demand for their services due to the Corona-crisis. Due to restructuring of contracts ISS is planning to lay off 300 employees. The company has received state funded salary compensation, but has now opted out of this scheme. ISS is now having dialogues with relevant trade unions and will try to relocate employees to other postitions if possible. The ISS group has a number of companies with different activities and the main activities are catering, cleaning and facility management.
