The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Greek Hellenic Telecommunications Organisation (OTE telecom) will start two new voluntary redundancy programmes from the end of May 2020. The first programme targetsĀ 230 workers near to retirement (a large number of them had registered in the previous voluntary redundancy programme of 2019) and the second programme refers to another 200 workers (at least 40 years old and having plus 10 years of service in the organization). The second programme will offer an attractive package to the workers to leave their jobs. The packages will range from 20 to 48 monthly salaries, based on the employee's years of service at the company. The two programmes will cost EUR 55mn (USD 63.44mn) and will cover employees across different subsidiaries and departments.
