Description

Menzies Aviation, which deals with baggage handling at Copenhagen airport, has laid off 155 employees due to the Corona-crisis. Menzies initially requested that employees take a 40 percent salary reduction, but soon realized that it needed to lay off staff. Commercial activity in the company has fallen by 90 percent as a result of the crisis. The company hopes to rehire some of the staff when and if things get back to normal. Besides the lay off of 155 employees another 200 have been sent home without salary.
