Dutch tour operator Corendon has announced it will cut 100 of it 400 jobs. The tour operator has been hit hard by the travel restrictions as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Government support measures have kept the company from falling into bankruptcy in the past months and extra government-backed loans will be necessary to survive. To qualify for additional loans, the company has to provide a viable business plan, of which the internal restructuring is one aspect. Corendon is a tour operator in the Netherlands, specialized in vacations to destinations in Greece, Turkey and Spain.
