Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Polish convenience store chain Dino Polska announced that it will create 600 jobs at its newly launched distribution centre in Łobez, Poland. The total warehouse area will cover 47,000 square metres, and on the site, there will be parking spaces, temperature-controlled warehouses and freezers under most recent sustainability standards.
Dino was founded in 1999 and its stores are generally located in medium and small-sized towns. Currently, the chain has over 1,200 stores and five distribution centres across the country.
