The subsidiary of the Toulouse-based Scalian group, CMT +, has announced an employment safeguard plan aimed at cutting 140 jobs out of a total of 225 positions in its office at Colomiers, near Toulouse. These job cuts are directly linked to the fall in aeronautical activity causd by the COVID-19 pandemic. The plan was presented to the Economic and Social Committee and the trade unions. CMT + is specialised in purchasing and assisting major accounts in controlling their costs. These main customers are in the aeronautics sector, notably Airbus.
