Description
Danish meat processing company Danish Crown is planning to employ further 100 employees at four of its facilities in Denmark, due to growing demand for Danish Crown's pork products at the Japanese market. Since the beginning of 2020, the company's staff have increased by 300 persons in total. According to the CEO of production, the business expansion comes as a surprise because it happens parallel to the outbreak and spread of the Coronavirus. The reason for the increase is new import trends of processed meat in Japan.
