Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
As announced on 22. January 2020, the German subsidiary of the Chinese automotive company Geely, Geely Auto Technical Deutschland (GATD) plans to increase the number of employees at its new headquarters in Raunheim by 230 within the next three years. Currently, GATD has 70 employees at the plant in Raunheim - most of are skilled engineers with work experience in the German automotive industry (e.g. Opel, VW and Audi). The focus of GATD in Raunheim is on electric mobility.
