Description
French food company Danone will be closing its plant in Rosenheim by the end of July 2021 which will result in the loss of 160 employees. According to management, the company’s workload has dropped by 70% in the last 10 years, making the closure inevitable. Danone will be offering a fair social plan to its employees. Further information regarding the plan has yet to be published.
The closure will further affect about 300 diary farms which will have to look for a new buyer.
