The Polish producer of wooden furniture and garden products Kabex announced that it plans to implement a collective dismissal programme affecting 100 positions at the unit in Janów, Poland. The source reports that Kabex Plus, a sister company specializing in the production of wooden office furniture, will cut its employment by 50 jobs. Both collective dismissal programmes were registered at the local employment agency in Częstochowa. Kabex and Kabex Plus, as with other companies in the furniture industry, are facing a fall in demand related to the Covid-19 pandemic. Kabex has been operating since 1986; currently, the company has three production facilities.
