European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Lactalis, the dairy products giant based in Laval (Mayenne), is experiencing an increase in activity due to the COVID-19 pandemic and is seeking to recruit 250 employees on permanent contracts at various sites in France. With current increases in orders, and therefore in activity at some of its sites, Lactalis wants to prepare for the post-confinement period. To do this, the group needs to continue its recurrent recruitment. The group is looking for qualified profiles such as workers, supervisors and managers in the fields of production, logistics, transport and maintenance. A previous business expansion took place in 2017 creating 100 jobs.
