Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Finnish-capital company Metso Lithuania, one of the leading providers of rubber and poly-met mill lining in Lithuania, is to create 200 new jobs in Siauliai. The company is establishing a new manufacturing site for mining consumables wear parts in Lithuania. The new facility will start operations at the end of second quarter of 2020. The factory will employ 80 people by end of 2020. In total, 200 new jobs will be created. Currently Metso Lithuania employs 91 employees.
